There is enormous potential ahead for innovation in the Australian aged care industry. Emerging technologies, new models and approaches to care, tech-driven services / products and solutions for changing customer needs are just some of the frontiers where opportunity is boundless.
To support and amplify innovative thinking in the sector, the Bentleys team – supported by partners including Telstra Health and ACSA – launched CareFactor www.bentleys.com.au/carefactor
CareFactor is an accelerated program that provides an entrepreneurial ‘playground’ for start-ups with new solutions, aged care providers, innovation experts and aged care specialists to collaborate and ideate on transformative solutions for aged care.
In 2019 and 2020, Bentleys had the pleasure of working with two cohorts of ingenious and passionate teams across a 12-week program. More importantly – we had the honour of introducing these teams to aged care providers and industry participants who got to share in the buzz and excitement of products and services that are changing the game for the aged care sector.
In 2021 – the program’s Pitch Day finale was run in conjunction with the ITAC Virtual Summit.
In this session, Heath Shonhan – CareFactor architect and aged care specialist – will provide a ‘peek behind the curtain’ of new solutions in aged care that have been nurtured through the CareFactor program.
The core value of this session is that you will be introduced to new and exciting innovations while also gaining some tips on how you can lead your service to embrace innovative thinking.
